Friday Flick

Family movie night anyone? Come out this Friday from 6:30 pm- 8:55 pm to our new Painswick Branch Public Library in Barrie and enjoy this week’s Friday Flick, Ratatouille.

Chappell Farms Fall Festival

Bring the kids out the the Chappell Farms Fall Festival this Saturday from 9am-5pm and enjoy visiting the animals, running on the hay bales, exploring the corn maze, ride the tricycle track, walk their new walking trail and then finish off the day by picking out a perfect pumpkin to take home. 

Open Air Dunlop

Walk or bike Barrie’s Downtown this Saturday during Open Air Dunlop! Portions of Dunlop will be closed off to vehicle traffic allowing you to explore the downtown on foot or bike.  Check out some of the local shops, dine on a patio and take in the downtown streetscape! Free Family Activities include, Art, Yoga & Circus Performers + Bike Night.

barrie Farmers Market 

Check out the Barrie Farmers Market every Saturday between 8AM - 12PM. The market features a range of vendors and products including fresh produce, meat, baked goods, honey, maple syrup and more. If you don't have time to shop the market there is also an option to place an order online for pick-up.

Barrie's Culture Day's Kick-Off

Barrie’s Downtown Meridian Place on Dunlop Street begins its “Barrie’s Culture Day’s Kick-Off” event.  Come out this Saturday with the family from 10am-5pm and enjoy some free art activities, interactive performers and learn about community arts organizations while taking a guided tour of Barrie’s historic and public art.

Living Green Barrie Harvest Share

Come out this Saturday from 10am-1pm to the Living Green Barrie Harvest Share and celebrate the bounty of September’s garden harvest! The community is invited to donate or pick up extra homegrown produce (veggies and fruits) at the Share Table.

All the donations from the produce will be shared with the Barrie Native Friendship Centre and any blemished fruit donated to the animal sanctuary so nothing will be going to waste! Kids can enjoy crafts and seed saving activities.

FANGtastic Fun Halloween Weekend

Barrie KOA is hosting yet another event this weekend from Friday to Sunday that the entire family will enjoy.  It is going to be a FANGtastic Fun Halloween Weekend and a real creepin’ good time!

Pumpkin Mania 

Rounds Ranch is celebrating Fall Season with their weekend Pumpkin Mania event. Come out on any Saturday or Sunday between the hours of 10am- 5pm until October 30th and enjoy fun tractor rides to the pumpkin patch to pick your favourite FREE ANY size, ANY colour pumpkin! Crazy pumpkin games will be ongoing such as the pumpkin bowling, pie eating contest, sack races and so much more!

Barrie Fall Fishing Festival

Barrie FALL Fishing FESTIVAL is kicking off for another year at the beautiful Kempenfelt Bay with the live catch & release Perch fishing event. This fun Fall event takes place for over 10 days from September 23rd to October 2nd, giving anglers of all ages the chance to enjoy fishing in the beautiful weather while enjoying the changing colours of fall all around the Bay.
