Friday Night Flick

Family movie night anyone? Come out this Friday from 6:30 pm- 8:55 pm to the Painswick Branch Public Library in Barrie and enjoy this week’s Friday Flick, Ghostbusters: Afterlife

Kings and Castles Halloween Party

Kings and Castles Indoor Playground & Restaur’haunt invites you this Friday night from 4:30 pm- 7:30 pm to a Halloween Party the whole family can enjoy.  Free pizza slice for everyone in a costume (Adults are included), special loot bags for all kids, Halloween crafts, ‘BOO’ Room for the extra brave kids! 

Open Air Dunlop

Walk or bike Barrie’s Downtown this Saturday during Open Air Dunlop! Portions of Dunlop will be closed off to vehicle traffic allowing you to explore the downtown on foot or bike.  Check out some of the local shops, dine out and take in the downtown streetscape! Free Family Activities include, Halloween Pop-up + Free Family Activities, Art, Toga, & Circus Performers.

HALLOWALK at Friday Harbour

HALLOWALK is happening this Saturday from 12-3 at Barrie’s Park Place!  Come dressed in your costume to the Village Courtyard to pick up a map and passport. Visit each of the participating stores to receive treats and have your passport stamped.  Once you have completed your map, drop it off for your chance to win a prize!

TRick-or-Treat on the Promenade

Trick-or-Treat on the Promenade with the family this Saturday evening from 3pm-6pm and enjoy roaming characters and performances, kid’s candy scavenger hunt, costume contest, face painting, Halloween decor and photo backdrop, Trick or treating at the many retailers and much more!

barrie Farmers Market 

Check out the Barrie Farmers Market every Saturday between 8AM - 12PM. The market features a range of vendors and products including fresh produce, meat, baked goods, honey, maple syrup and more. If you don't have time to shop the market there is also an option to place an order online for pick-up.

Barrie Colts vs. Kingston Frontenacs

Take the kids out and cheer on your favorite CHL team this Saturday night at 7:30 live and in-person at the Sadlon Arena in Barrie. Barrie Colts will be up against the Kingston Frontenacs, get your tickets and come out for some exciting family fun! 

Chappell Farms Fall Festival

Bring the kids out to the Chappell Farms Fall Festival and enjoy visiting the animals, running on the hay bales, exploring the corn maze, riding the tricycle track, walk their new walking trail and then finish off the day by picking out a perfect pumpkin to take home. Hurry and don’t miss out on this fun filled experience as the Farm will close on October 31st at 4pm.

PumpkinFest 2022

PumpkinFest 2022 is happening every weekend from now until the end of October. Get the family together and come out to Hewitts Fun Farm for a fun packed day of activities and attractions.  Finish off the day by taking a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch and picking out a pumpkin of your choice. 

Pumpkin Mania 

Rounds Ranch is celebrating Fall Season with their weekend Pumpkin Mania event. Come out on any Saturday or Sunday between the hours of 10am- 5pm until October 30th and enjoy fun tractor rides to the pumpkin patch to pick your favourite FREE ANY size, ANY colour pumpkin! Crazy pumpkin games will be ongoing such as the pumpkin bowling, pie eating contest, sack races and so much more!

Pumpkinferno

Pumpkinferno returns for another year at Discovery Harbour, Thursday-Sunday until October 30th.  Come out for the drive-thru experience with the kids on Thursday nights and then come back Friday-Sunday for the walk-thru experience and enjoy the entertainment from the roving performers showing off their skills with fire, magic, juggling and more!

GROUNDS HALLOWE'EN ATTRACTION

Are you looking to be spooked out??? Take your friends and family out to the GRIMM GROUNDS HALLOWE’EN ATTRACTION located on Crossland Road in Tiny.  Your will find a full blown linear large scale theatrical horror maze designed to be truly unique and terrorize its victims. Bring the kids for the Family walkthrough during the daytime hours of 1pm-5pm for a no-scare walk then come back later without the kids from 7pm-10pm to experience the horrific Scare!

Drysdale's Haunted Harvest Village

Bring the family out to the Drysdale’s Haunted Harvest Village to enjoy a frightful fun day of pumpkin picking and Halloween gift & decor shopping. Features activities such as the haunted walking trail, Pick Pocket Magician, Bonfire (BYO marshmallows and roasting sticks), sand mountain, children’s zip line, obstacle course and much more!

Sunset Barrie Drive-In Movie

Catch a movie at Sunset Barrie this weekend! Feature films include: Charlie Brown’s Great Pumpkin (1966), Black Adam, Don’t Worry Darling, Halloween ENDS, PREY for the DEVIL, SMILE, SCREAM(2022)
