Showcase of Homes {from home}

The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Barrie and District is hosting their 2021 Showcase of Homes Tour. The event takes place Friday through Sunday where participants enjoy an online interactive tour of lovely and unique homes.

The Barrie Film Festival is back! The event is offering a hybrid of online and in-person screenings running now through to Oct 3rd. Some of the films include Beans, Best Sellers, Dream Horse, Summer of Soul and more! 

Sunset Barrie

Catch a movie this weekend at Sunset Barrie drive-in movie theatre. There are a variety of movies playing Friday through Sunday including Superbad, The Addams Family 2, Jurassic Park (1993) and Venom: Let there be Carnage. 

Pumpkin Mania at Rounds Ranch

Enjoy the fall season at Pumpkin Mania! Take a tractor ride to the pumpkin patch, pick a pumpkin to take home and play some pumpkin themed games this weekend! Other fun activities include the petting zoo, the corn maze, the Western playfort, the low ropes course and more!

Chappell Farms Fall Festival

Bees in the Bush Festival

The Bay Studio Tour

Head out for a drive the Bay Studio Tour this Saturday & Sunday. The self-guided tour takes place in studios and galleries along the shore of Georgian Bay. The artists featured include all mediums of art including sculpture, pottery, painting, photographic art, glass, jewellery, wood and more! 

Honey Bee Festival

The Township of Georgian Bay Honey Bee Festival is running this Saturday. There is a marketplace where you will find local honey producers, handmade items and more! Our Lady Peace will be taking part virtually with an acoustic music experience. 

Barrie Farmer's Market

Check out the outdoor Barrie Farmer's Market Saturday between 8AM - 12PM. The market features a range of vendors and products including fresh produce, meat, baked goods, honey, maple syrup and more. If you don't have time to shop the market there is also an option to place an order online for pick-up.
