Friday Harbour - Vendor Market Series

Friday Harbour is hosting a vibrant outdoor marketplace featuring local vendors and entertainment, open every weekend from May through September! With something for everyone, the Vendor Market offers a unique range of artisanal products, fashion and accessories, bath and body products, décor, and more. Be sure to also visit the CIBC Pier to enjoy live music and our Friday Harbour retailers located along the Promenade for more exciting finds! Free admission and parking. Barrie Waterfront Festival

The Barrie Waterfront Festival is back to bring Centennial Park to life with amazing musical acts, food trucks, vendors, beer garden, midway and more!

The annual spring line-up will present live bands from a variety of genres. For your added enjoyment, free outdoor entertainment will be brought to the table. Don't miss this weekend with your family; eat, drink and have fun while sharing in Barrie’s terrific community spirit.

Treetop Trekking At Horseshoe Resort

Native Tree and Shrub Sale

Living Green Barrie is having a Native Tree and Shrub Sale to help us raise money to plant more trees and grow our environmental programs. Pre-order online and pick up on Saturday, May 27th (9am-4pm), or Sunday, May 28th (10am-3pm). You can also purchase at the sale from the stock that is left. We will be joined by Pollinate Barrie. Talk to the tree and native plant experts about what to plant in your garden. Thank you for your support! *Please note that pick up is ONLY May 27th and 28th at a different location than last year (6 Cumberland St. Barrie, Beacon Environmental Office). Lampman Garden Party

Free community event at the Lampman Lane Park (near the community garden) on May 27th from 11am-2pm. Free seedlings grown by students and community groups. Gardening activities by Barrie Public Library and more. Food demonstration and free samples by CMHA Urban Pantry.

Communities in Bloom Purple Day

 Bradford Greenhouses Garden Gallery presents Communities in Bloom Purple Day in association with the City of Barrie! We're hosting this event to encourage people to plant purple flowers in their garden this year as it is the Communities in Bloom colour of the year!Enjoy a charity BBQ in support of Roots For Youth, a kid's scavenger hunt, and a meet & greet with Frankie Flowers from 11am–1pm.
