Spring Tonic Maple Syrup Festival At Tiffin Conservation

 April 1st & 2nd. Visitors will take a trip back in time to explore how Indigenous people and pioneers made maple syrup. After that, they will return to current times and see how maple syrup is made today! End your tour with pancake and sausage breakfast with fresh maple syrup. Other activities include horse-drawn wagon rides, firefighters, dog performance, exotic and native animals and much more. Event Times: 9:00am - 3:00pm; Breakfast is served until 2pm. Admission: Adults: $20; Kids 1 - 12: $15; Free for children under 2.

Maple Weekend At Hutchinson Maple Syrup

 April 1st & 2nd. Come on out and see how maple syrup is made from tree to bottle! Have a taste of our 2023 sweet maple syrup, take a stroll through our trails, visit our old sugar shack, have some taffy on the snow, sit by our fire, and try your hand with the cross-cut saw! Come hungry because we will have Sully’s Eats & Treats on site with their Pancakes in a cup, Eggies, Hamburgers, Hotdogs, and Fries! On April 1st, we will have live music from Pat & Russ from noon until 2pm, and Monty the Alpaca will be with us from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm!

Spring Festival at Chappell Farms is an amazing place for kids and adults alike! We have all kinds of activities, and there is also plenty of room to just run and play in the fresh air! Spring Inspired Stone Carving - Wye Marsh

April 2nd. Take in a Wye Marsh Birds of Prey Show at 1 pm. Find your inspiration. Let your imagination soar like an eagle. Hold ancient stone in your hands, and carve away the excess, to reveal the beauty within, under the tutelage of Lisa Harpell, owner/founder of Creative Madness Art Studios. This workshop takes place from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and costs $70 per person. Pre-registration is required.

Pond Skim 2023 - Snowvalley

Are you ready for a wet and wild adventure? Look no further than our 80ft pond skim! Get ready to slide across the water on your skis or snowboard, dressed in your most outrageous costume. We encourage you to let your imagination run wild and show off your creativity as you skim across the pond. Best of all, there's no charge to enter! Instead, we kindly ask for a donation to our local food bank. So not only will you have a blast, but you'll also be helping those in need. Registration is at the Information Desk from 9:00am-12:30pm.  Pond Skim goes at 1:00pm. You will be required to sign or have a guardian sign a waiver when registering. Registration is limited to the first 70 individuals.

Barrie Comicon

If you purchase your ticket online you will get a Free comic book at the door! VENDORS : A variety of vendors will be selling comic books, new & vintage toys, jewelry, DVD's, anime, manga, prints, and a variety of other awesome geek stuff .. among other things! There will even be some Artists present with their own art and comics. Visit their booths and get some unique items and even some free autographs Also: Some vendors will be buying. Bring your unwanted comic books , toys, video games and anything else you are looking to clear out and go home with some extra cash COSPLAY : Cosplay is always encouraged!
