Friday Harbour is hosting a vibrant outdoor marketplace featuring local vendors and entertainment, open every weekend from May through September! With something for everyone, the Vendor Market offers a unique range of artisanal products, fashion and accessories, bath and body products, décor, and more. Be sure to also visit the CIBC Pier to enjoy live music and our Friday Harbour retailers located along the Promenade for more exciting finds! Free admission and parking. Georgian College Auto Show

Revive the Drive at the Georgian College Auto Show! We are back for 2023! The Georgian College Auto Show is North America’s largest outdoor auto show. It’s organized by Automotive Business students and held on the Barrie Campus.
Manufacturer Exhibits: Acura, Barrie Harley-Davidson, Ford, FCA, GM, Honda, Hyundai, Lincoln, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo. Admission: General Admission Fri - Sun: $10.00. Family Pass - 4 General Admission Tickets: $30.
12 years and under: Free. Show Times: Friday, June 2: Noon - 5pm, Saturday, June 3: 10am - 6pm, Sunday, June 4: 10am - 5pm.

Barrie Concert Band Goes Broadway

Light’s, Camera, Action…Sing! There is nothing quite as magical as watching a story unfold through song. The Barrie Concert Band will take you on stage with them as they perform some of Broadway’s greatest hits! Show Time: June 3rd 2pm - 4pm. Admission: Students $10. Adults $25. Under 12 years and under: Free.

Kids Fishing Derby

The annual Kid’s Fishing Derby will be held Saturday, June 3rd, 2023 from 9am – 12pm. The Derby is free of charge for all area children up to and including the age of 16 years. Registration takes place in the morning at 9am at the Town of Midland booth. Each fisherman receives free bait, a hot dog, juice box, and a prize! We have bikes to win as well! This event is well attended and is very much enjoyed by all local children. Last year the attendance was approximately 700 people. New this year, Midland Chrysler will be offering a Mini-Jeep raffle at their booth. We will have mascots Sonic the Hedgehog and Chase from Paw Patrol.
