Interested in some live music, fresh local produce, baked goods and free activities for the kids? Check out Barrie’s Farmers Market on Saturdays 9am-1pm. Now outside for the season.

Friday Harbour - Vendor Market Series

Friday Harbour is hosting a vibrant outdoor marketplace featuring local vendors and entertainment, open every weekend from May through September! With something for everyone, the Vendor Market offers a unique range of artisanal products, fashion and accessories, bath and body products, décor, and more. Be sure to also visit the CIBC Pier to enjoy live music and our Friday Harbour retailers located along the Promenade for more exciting finds! Free admission and parking. Barrie Butter Tart Festival

Saturday July 8th, 10am-5pm. Come out and shop, there are a number of bakeries for you to choose from such as Bruno’s Bake Shop and Café, Sweet Oven Niagara and many more! Sip, shop, enjoy the artisan marketplace while you sample the butter tarts, cannoli’s and sweet sensations from award-winning local bakeries and bakeries across Ontario.

Open Air Dunlop

Under The Sea - Wet & Wild  Water Weekend

July 7th-13th. Everything is better down where it's wetter! H2-Uh-O, there's dolphinitely no escaping the motion of the Barrie KOA ocean. Come sea what fin-tastic activities we have planned for our fellow mermaids and mermen. Bring your water weapons of mass soaking power, and drench your anemones. It's going to be one wavy, whale of a time.

South Bay Fields Lavender Farm

Wander through 5,000 lavender plants of 8 different varieties spread across 3 unique planting arrangements. Take a break on our garden bench swings situated in the middle of 1000+ blooming English lavender. Relax in our Muskoka chairs situated throughout the lavender fields. Take a stroll through our winding relaxation path which guides you through our canola field and wildflower field containing over 27 different wildflower species. Visit our open air shop (yes, that is a fancy way of saying tent) with all of our lavender goodies available for purchase.   In addition to our products, you can also purchase fresh lavender and sunflower bundles harvested the morning of your visit. Learn about growing, harvesting and distilling lavender from one of our friendly staff.

Goat Your Back Farm & Yoga

Sunday July 9th, 11am. Come get your yoga on with the Goat Your Back herd! We combine the practice of yoga along with the peculiar personalities of the Nigerian Dwarf goat breed. We love them, and we promise you will too. The practice will be similar to your typical yoga class, but with less concentration and the addition of laughter. Each session is one hour long with 45 minutes of practice and 15 minutes for cuddles and photos. Check the website out to register.

Midland Poutine Feast 2023

July 7th-9th, 11am-6pm. Get ready for the ultimate poutine experience as Midland Poutine Feast 2023 is coming to town! With a wide range of poutine options, kids' activities and exciting entertainment, this year's event promises to wow the whole town. The Midland Poutine Feast 2023 will feature a diverse selection of poutines to satisfy every craving, from traditional poutines with gravy and cheese curds to more adventurous ones with toppings like smoked meat, chili, and more. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options will also be available for those with dietary restrictions.
