Friday Harbour is hosting a vibrant outdoor marketplace featuring local vendors and entertainment, open every weekend from May through September! Hoedown Weekend
July 21st-27th. Howdy partners! Kick off your boots and stay awhile as we travel to the wild, wild west. Get ready for a rootin' tootin' good time complete with a hoedown and hippity hop horse corral. Don't forget your cowboy hats and boots as we saddle up for fun!
South Bay Fields Lavender Farm
Wander through 5,000 lavender plants of 8 different varieties spread across 3 unique planting arrangements. Take a break on our garden bench swings situated in the middle of 1000+ blooming English lavender. Relax in our Muskoka chairs situated throughout the lavender fields. Take a stroll through our winding relaxation path which guides you through our canola field and wildflower field containing over 27 different wildflower species. Visit our open air shop (yes, that is a fancy way of saying tent) with all of our lavender goodies available for purchase. In addition to our products, you can also purchase fresh lavender and sunflower bundles harvested the morning of your visit. Learn about growing, harvesting and distilling lavender from one of our friendly staff.
The 5K Foam fest
5k Foam Fest has 22 of some of the best and most exciting obstacles in the world including the worlds largest inflatable waterslide, slip and slides, and mucky mud pits! Combine these with 2.5 million cubic feet of foam that we pump out at each event and you are destined to have a awesome day!

Get accessible recreation services and summer fun right in your own neighbourhoods. Back again for a third year, the Summer Fun Trailer will be travelling to various locations for the 2023 summer season (weather permitting).
Equipment can be loaned out for free to use in the park on that day. Equipment is for all ages, and can be signed out by participants 12 years and older. Equipment includes, but is not limited to:
Spike ball
Ladder golf sets
Basketballs
Frisbee
Soccer balls
Skateboards
Scooters
Helmets
Arts & crafts
Mural colouring
First-come, first-served basis.
Family Beach Day
Bring your towel and swimwear, because we are hitting the beach! PJ Simcoe and PJ Newmarket/Aurora invite you to join us to catch some rays, play some outdoor games and enjoy a frozen treat. Meeting Place: Beach 2
PAID PARKING: Public lots include A, B, C, E & F. Lots C & E are closest to where we will meeting. Lots D & G are reserved for Innisfil residents only.
