Friday Night Flick

Family movie night anyone? Come out this Friday 6:30pm to our Painswick Branch Public Library in Barrie and enjoy this week’s Friday Flick, Labyrinth (1hr 41m).

Barrie Colts vs. Kingston Frontenacs

Wanna check out a hockey game? Our Barrie Colts are taking on the Kingston Frontenacs this Saturday February 4th at the Sadlon Arena starting at 7:30. Get your tickets here. 

Guided Snowshoe Hike & Locally Inspired Cookout

Come out this Saturday February 4th to Snow Valley Tube Park for a one-of-a-kind 1.5 - 2 hour guided snowshoe hike. Enjoy with family or have a romantic date night. Half way through the hike, you will be greeted with a campfire and the smell of a locally inspired stew. Your bowl of stew and sweet treats will be waiting for you as you gather around the warmth of the roaring campfire. Headlamps and equipment are provided. Check their website out to register.

Embrace the best of the winter season at Friday Harbour with ice skating in the Piazza, an array of sweet and savoury treats, handcrafted beverages, live entertainment and more running every Friday, Saturday and Sunday 3:00-8:00pm (weather permitting) until March 4th.

Hot Cocoa Trail 

Follow the Hot Cocoa Trail for the tastiest way to warm up February. This Downtown Barrie winter tradition showcases some deliciously unique and creative hot chocolate inspired beverages and dishes by our local coffee shops, cafés, and restaurants. Every Saturday and Sunday in February, head downtown, venture along the Hot Cocoa Trail and indulge in signature cups of hot chocolate while sipping, shopping and supporting local! Winterfest

Winterfest kicks off Hello Winter, celebrating Barrie's winter spirit throughout February this Saturday & Sunday! Wagon rides, buskers, marshmallow roasting, vendors, live entertainment and so much more! Click here for more information on this year’s activities. 

51st Annual Barrie Train Show & Sale

The 51st annual Barrie Model Train Show will be taking place this Saturday & Sunday at Bradford Greenhouses!  Largest model train show in Central Ontario. Several layouts and almost 40 vendors. 10am-4pm. Adults: $8.00 Children under 6: Free. 

The February Blues Festival

Shake off cabin fever at the annual February Blues Festival, featuring Blues and Jazz music performed by some of Canada's most brilliant artists in venues throughout Barrie and the area. Various times, check the schedule out if you're interested.
