Hello Winter
In lieu of Barrie’s traditional Winterfest, the city of Barrie will be hosting Hello Winter throughout February & March. There will be ice sculptures, a hot cocoa trail, outdoor fun at various parks throughout the city and more! Friday between 6PM-9PM there will be a skating party at the rink at City Hall featuring a live DJ and is sponsored by TELUS.
Marsh by Moonlight: Winter Series
Head to the Wye Marsh on Friday or Saturday for their Marsh by Moonlight: Winter Series. Participants will get to snowshoe through the moonlit trails, learn about the Marsh at night and relax by the fire with a roasted snack and warm drink. Space is limited and registration in advance is required.
Valentine’s Day at Friday Harbour

This self-guided tour has over 20 dazzling lights displays at 14 locations in Clearview township including local parks and community halls. Head to Snow Valley on Saturday for a Snowshoe & Chilli Cookout! The moonlit guided tour will last 1.5 - 2 hours with an open bonfire, hot bowl of chilli and treats halfway through the tour.

Check out the outdoor Barrie Farmer's Market Saturday between 8AM - 12PM. The market features a range of vendors and products including fresh produce, meat, baked goods, honey, maple syrup and more. If you don't have time to shop the market there is also an option to place an order online for pick-up.
